Our 'favourite lady'...

The doe in this short video was captured by us for several years, and we got to know her by sight straightaway. We often caught her with the 'kids' she was so successful with trailing behind her at various well-trodden places on our land. I did show a video on this channel where she seemed to be struggling in the birth of a new entry to the world, and we never saw her after that video. A bit gruesome to say, but my granddaughter did find a full set of deer jawbones in our stream, and these may be hers...
This video shows a happier time, scoffing apples we provided. I go through and orchard every year, eating very few myself....
