New 3 Meter (9.8 foot) Workbench - Part 2 - Trestle Assembly & Anti Racking Beam

Decided to build a new workbench that is 3 meters (9.8 foot) long. Reason was that my current workbench is too short, and too narrow (working area) for bigger projects. Also, I want to use more traditional holding methods, such as hold fast, battens etc. Will add more accessories later on when main bench is completed. This will be based on the English/Nicholsen bench, using Richard Maguire's bench building guide.

Part 2 is to make the anti-racking beam, as well as glue and assemble the trestles. The anti-racking beam will be fitted to the one trestle leg and the apron of the bench, in order to withstand/re-enforce the bench against planing heavy stock.
