WWF : Plastic pollution rising at an alarming rate, affecting 88% of marine species

WWF on Tuesday said that plastic is impacting almost all parts of the ocean and called for immediate efforts to create an international treaty. As per their report, 88% of marine species are being affected by severe contamination of plastic in the ocean, including animals commonly consumed by humans.
