Backpacking the North Cascades | Maple Grove Mt Baker WA. "Pt.1"

Our first Overnight Backpacking trip of the season in the North Cascades! Backpacking overnight is most always fun, this trip was one of those! Gus and my first backpacking overnight trip ever was in the Maple Grove area about 4 years ago by Mt Baker. What an event it was. This trail is in the Mt Baker Snoqualmie National Forest on the east side of Baker lake. This is a 2 part video. The in the second video I will explain an event we experienced the first night. It did not make any sense until I got home the next day. I consider this a solo backpacking trip since I am the only human hiking. :)
