Response to BLM

On Friday, June 12, 2020 at 7:00pm in the Town of Henrietta, the Frederick Douglass Foundation of New York (FDFNY) partnered with Henrietta residents and organized a peaceful vigil, demonstrating how united under God and Country – we can stand together regardless of skin-color or circumstance. A peaceful vigil that was well attended.

Unfortunately, this event was misrepresented and reported incorrectly by local news outlet WHAM Ch13. FDFNY does not represent, support or agree with the philosophy nor the political stance of the Black Lives Matter Global Network also known as the Black Lives Matter Movement.
