Backpacking the North Cascades | Maple Grove Mt. Baker "Pt.2"

Our first Backpacking in the North Cascades trip of the season! This time we went to Maple Grove. Our first backpacking overnight trip ever was about 4 years ago on this very trail. What an event it was. This trail is in the Mt Baker Snoqualmie National Forest on the east side of Baker lake. This is Pt 2 of a 2 part video. In this video I will explain an event we experienced the first night. It did not make any sense until I got home the next day and was confirmed with a friend a week later. I consider this a solo backpacking trip since I am the only human hiking. :)
