Like Cat Stevens sang and the famous hymn goes:
"Morning has broken
like the first morning,
blackbird has spoken
like the first bird.
Praise for the singing!
Praise for the morning!
Praise for them, springing
fresh from the Word!

Mine is the sunlight!
Mine is the morning
born of the one light
Eden saw play!
Praise with elation,
praise every morning,
God’s recreation
of the new day!"
Here is Epsom, Ontario in the early morning (July 2022). Epsom is really Scugog/Port Perry now, a relic of an old community exists prior to mergings.
This drive is mainly Reach Street (Durham Regional Road 8) before the drive takes a turn towards Port Perry proper on highway 7 and 12.
Epsom was its own rural community in Reach Township in Ontario County until 1974. In that year Ontario County merged with part of the neighbouring county of Durham to become the Regional Municipality of Durham. In this period, Reach Township merged with Scugog Township and Cartwright Township under the name Scugog.
Epsom is half way between Uxbridge and Port Perry.
North of Toronto (Whitby, Oshawa).
In this video, we pass Solo Corner Gas & Convenience at the corner of Highway 7 and Regional Road 8. The video fades out at Scucog Line 6.
