We are so pleased to feature one of the most popular Mappilapaattu singers from Kerala through our channel. She sang more than 3000 songs during '80s and '90s.

Mappila songs (or Mappila Paattu) are a folklore Muslim song genre rendered to lyrics, within a melodic framework (Ishal), in the colloquial Mappila dialect of Malayalam laced with Arabic, by the Mappilas of the Malabar region in Kerala, India.[1] Mappila songs have a distinct cultural identity, while at the same time remain closely linked to the cultural practices of Kerala.
