Kawakami claims that interfering with the prosecuting attorneys office would be corruption, yet he had the authority to overstep by creating legislation under the so-called emergency? Does anyone else see the hypocrisy? The point is: as mayor he is the Chief Officer of the Executive Branch, which means he DOES have the authority to call on the police and the county sheriff to take ACTION against CHILD ABUSE and CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.
He also said that "the power flows from the federal to the state to the local government and that's how the cookie crumbles".  This is exactly the problem with too many Hawaii politicians.  They are completely ignorant to how the constitution grants the states autonomy and gives the federal government "limited powers".

This was the first time in over two years that we finally had an opportunity to confront Kawakami for failing to protect the rights of the people during this pandemic exercise false flag. If he is going to be re-elected we need to know what he intends to do to change the trajectory we are on. Apparently the answer seems to be NOTHING.

We MUST elect people who will be willing to use their power in this position to follow through in their DUTY to protect the rights of the people.
