September 2019, I had 2 of my favorite vandas bloom at the same time, so I pollinated the a single of each spike from my Vanda denisoniana Dark Chocolate 'Star' and Vanda 'Dragon Fire Lip' (the name is not registered, so I renamed it 'Leopard Yawn'). As the seed pod is still in tact, but the spike is drying up, I thought it best to remove the seed pod and prepare it for shipping to The Orchid Room. This way, the seeds will not be compromised until such a time as The Orchid Room is ready to deal with it. Thank you so much for watching this video! If you have any experience with seed pods, do you think my pod is compromised because it has turned yellow? The color changed once the temperatures rose at the beginning of June 2020. This video was filmed on the 11th June. If you can give me some insight, I would greatly appreciate it!
