NEW Metal Roof in ONE Day! | Fabral DIY Metal Roof Installation | 2020/23

I recently had the opportunity to install a metal roof on a well house for a customer. This is not my first metal roof installation, but the first time I have done one this steep and tall. The customer had shingles originally but was set on metal, and I can see why. The installation was faster than shingles would have been, and metal will last a lot longer, at least 20 years longer in fact. I was very fortunate to have some help, the removal of the old shingles was relatively easy (you can install these over old shingles, but the homeowner preferred a fresh start, and we needed to repair some dry rot). This project took six 12-foot metal panels and the associated gable trim, ridge cap, and drip edges.

We did this project over two days, but it only took about 10 hours. With some help an early start, a small building can have a new metal roof in a day, easily. It is an intermediate level project that any homeowner can tackle to upgrade a small outbuilding or shed. If you are thinking a larger building with multiple angles or a home, consider hiring a metal roofing professional.
