Seattle's Lawless Chop/Chaz Neighborhood at Night - No Police

Walk with me through Chop/Chaz at night. On Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 10:30 pm I walked into the Chop/Chaz zone with two longtime friends. We spent two hours covering the area and recording images.

The Seattle Police Department East Precinct has been vacated - pushed out by protestors. This roughly 6 block area has been without police or real law since June 8, 2020.

Many of the comments requested a night time walkthrough thinking it would be a wildly different experience. It really wasn't. Just different than daytime. Far fewer people. But still no police.
