Garden update 6-22: The Lazarus Garden

update: we got an inch of rain on Monday night so the garden has really perked up. Very thankful! Our garden has come back from the nearly dead--not completely, four-days dead like Lazarus, but impressive, nonetheless.
Lori Fiechter here with My Indiana Garden a couple of days past the official start of summer! Summer means tomatoes and we have one (sadly, only one) that is starting to turn red. The potatoes are blooming and the onions are standing tall (once they fall, they quit growing). I'm impatient for some mini cucumbers but they are taking their time right now. Green beans and wax beans should be ready to have a meal by the end of the week.
What the garden needs now is rain, rain, rain (watering helps, but it's just not the same)
