Most people don’t know the benefits that power animals bring. Spirit animals offer an invisible yet real source of friendship and support. Each of us has at least one power animal and they visit us because they have a lesson we need to learn, such as strength, gentleness, patience, and fearlessness. Today we’ll look at the elk.

Elks are the largest species of the deer family. The male elk has a very commanding presence. They’re good swimmers, can jump high, and run up to 35 miles an hour. Elks are herbivores, grazing mornings and evenings. Most of the year, adult males and females are divided into separate herds. They migrate frequently in search of better feeding and breeding grounds. When they do look for a mate in the rut or breeding season, the elks prepare themselves by sounding off, strutting, and displaying their large antlers as they spar with other bulls for the right to mate.

Elks have an independent spirit and carry themselves with pride and nobility. They’re very protective of their family and value the companionship of their own gender. The wise elk has the stamina and determination to go wherever they want to. In fact, they can pace themselves to outrun any of their predators.

Elks symbolizes strength, confidence, and resilience. When you need extra courage and perseverance, call on the spirit of elk. Visit our website to learn more about the wisdom and guidance they offer. https://www.poweranimals.info
