4lb Ankle Weights: I could feel that one

Continuing this new style of progressions, I upped the ankle weights to 4 pounds on the field and used 2.5 lb wrist weights as well. For me, the 3 lb ankle weights was a nice challenge but not that bad, and I think I noticed the 4 lb's more here (I am writing this a few weeks after the actual day). Meaning, I felt this more in my legs and hamstrings especially.

It was still a great day! I came close to a PR at the end, but not quite haha.

So I made a note that 4 lbs is as high as I would go for the ankle weights. What I would do next is use 2 and 3 lbs for longer distances, and then go back to 4 lbs for shorter distance working up to longer distance, and the same with 5 lbs and so on.

I wanted to keep trying new things with this short window I had to be outdoors in September, so my few sprint workouts switched from the ankle weights and utilized a weighted vest.

Flow Markers:

30:30 50 yds with 4 lb ankle weights + 2.5 lb wrist weights
