The Bangladesh Army chief delivered Eid gifts to 1,000 distressed families in the area of ​​his ancestral home.

Shortly after SM Shafiuddin Ahmed became the Chief of the Bangladesh Army, his cousin Vita visited the village of Karfa in Lohagarh, Narail on January 4 this year. During this time he exchanged greetings with his close relatives and inspected the progress of various development works including distribution of blankets among the victims.

He then laid the foundation stone of a 10-bed Mother and Child Welfare Center in the name of his father, the late Professor Sheikh Rokan Uddin Ahmed, at his ancestral home.

Following this, the Army Chief handed over Eid gifts to one thousand distressed families in the ancestral Vitabari area on Wednesday, July 8 at 10 am to share the Eid joy.
