The last take was recorded at rita's house in 1995, we were student's at Sunderland University in England, we had been a band for nearly two years and this was the last performance as we were all going our separate ways out into the world of work, jobs etc, well some of us were i just went off ramblin as i always do. Driftwood were a great band and if recorded at the time in a professional studio with a pro producer the sound would have been outstanding.. but that never happened, fortunately thanks to mags who brought a dat tape recorder to the final performance we have this, mags also arranged for us to be filmed in a live performance some 6 months earlier which i hope will see the light of day some time in the near future. With music audio technology coming along with the help of artificial intelligence i believe one day hopefully in my lifetime i will get to hear driftwood in perfect sound quality, in the meantime i can only try and upgrade things as best i can.
