Fathers Daughter Skydiving fun in 2020

When I married my lovely wife, I made a promise not to jump out of an airplane again until our youngest child turned 18. It had been years since I last jumped so I really wasn't planning on it anyway. At one point I told this story to Bethany (sometime in her early teen years). It didn't take her long to start planning her 18th birthday plans. Translated....my wifes plan back-fired.

We did this jump on Father's Day, the day after my daughters high school graduation open-house. Last fall we were in Orlando just a few weeks before her birthday. I figured that was close enough 18 that my wife wouldn't mind. She was ok with it, but it turns out the Government wasn't. You have to be 18+ to jump. Apparently, they don't let crazy parents sign away their crazy kids. So instead we went to I-Fly indoor skydiving. Highly recommended!

I'm kind of glad it didn't work last fall because Grand Haven from 10,000 feet is absolutely amazing!
