This episode of the Porsche 550 build Wray starts by using his paper pattern off the rear of the wireform. He cuts out a blank sheet of aluminum roughly 1" larger than the pattern suggests. Once the Porsche 550 pattern is on the blank sheet, Wray locates where all the shrinks need to happen. He starts by annealing the aluminum, then using a mallet and his reverse curve tool he shrinks the metal where the reverse curve is. Then to make the tail light section, Wray uses his tucking tool to shrink the edges around the Porsche 550 tail light. Wray hammers down the hard spines and then planishes it out using the English Wheel.
