Today is World Bee Day: What will happen if bees go extinct

World Bee Day is often a chance to celebrate the hard work bees do to pollinate our plants and keep our ecosystems healthy.
These vital insects play a central role in agriculture. In fact, more than a third of the food we eat depends on pollination by bees, either directly or indirectly.
Without bees, food would be scarce, and a vast portion of the population would perish from starvation. It is because they increase agricultural production around the world by pollinating. As a result, World Bee Day is celebrated to raise awareness about the threats faced by bees as a result of human activity and to acknowledge the significance of bees in our biodiversity.
