Children's Day in Afghanistan: They work for a piece of bread, hoping for a better future

The vast majority of Afghan children are facing extremely harsh living conditions, according to a recent United Nations report.
In the capital Kabul, thousands of Afghan children have to work doing various jobs to earn a piece of bread, sharing heavy family burdens amid the country's economic woes - and some even become the family's only breadwinner.
The harshness of life has shattered their academic dreams, as some still hope for a better future.
