Why not start your day with a nice invigorating hike up a volcano in Nicaragua called Cerro Negro! Now you may be wondering what you do after you make it to the top. First, you enjoy the amazing views. Next, you gear up in bright yellow jumpsuits, sit down on a slim board and push yourself off the side of the volcano. Sounds fun, right? After such an exhilarating morning, our next stop was to have lunch in León, and enjoy trying some of the local food before exploring the area. One of the highlights is going to the rooftop of the The Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary which is the largest cathedral in Central America. Here you will be able to see many other cathedrals around the city, as well as, volcanoes off in the distant. These are just a few of the things to do in and around the city of León.
