Pegas, Lana: Ανοίγει ο δρόμος για την αποδέσμευση των 2 ελληνικών δεξαμενόπλοιων από το Ιράν

Με μια εσπευσμένη δικαστική απόφαση δίνεται λύση στο πρόβλημα που έχει δημιουργηθεί από την κατάσχεση των δύο ελληνικών τάνκερ στα στενά του Ορμούζ από τους Φρουρούς της Επανάστασης του #Ιράν, καθώς το συγκεκριμένο συμβάν είχε γίνει ως αντίποινα για την κατάσχεση από τις ελληνικές αρχές ιρανικού πετρελαίου από το πλοίο «Lana».

Συγκεκριμένα χθες, το Συμβούλιο Εφετών Χαλκίδας κατά τη διάρκεια δίκης για την κατάσχεση ιρανικού πετρελαίου από τις ελληνικές αρχές από το δεξαμενόπλοιο #Lana, έκανε δεκτές τις αντιρρήσεις της ιρανικής πλευράς και ακύρωσε την κατάσχεση και μετάγγιση του φορτίου, κάτι που σημαίνει ότι το πετρέλαιο που μεταγγίστηκε και μεταφέρθηκε στο μισθωμένο από τις ΗΠΑ δεξαμενόπλοιο «Ice Energy» θα πρέπει να επιστραφεί στο «Lana» και στους Ιρανούς.

A court in Greece overturned an earlier court ruling that allowed the confiscation by the United States of part of a cargo of Iranian oil on an Iranian-flagged tanker off the European country’s coast.

This is according to three sources familiar with the matter.

“The action for the reversal of the ruling was accepted by the court,” Reuters quoted one of the sources as saying on Wednesday. “It will be hard to overrule that (the appeal court's ruling).”

It was not immediately clear if the US or Greek governments would challenge the new ruling issued by the Appeals court of the region of Chalkis.

Iran's embassy in Athens on Thursday confirmed that the Greek Appeals court has overturned the initial ruling on the confiscation of Iranian oil following intensive follow-up.
