Bob Chiaradio speaks on policy 4145 regarding the input from the School Improvement Team if students on the team be allowed to recommend candidates for teacher hires to the superintendent. A disclaimer regarding fair hiring practices based on race and gender were cross out. He asks the school committee if this was done in error.
Mr. Chiaradio is furious over the Equity Audit and states the issue was created by the school department with racial division.
School committee chair Diane Bowdy abruptly cuts off his mic at the five minute mark and keeps repeating for him to sit down.
