This Zomboss quest focuses on the Core plant Squash and was offered between July 6, 2022 and July 13, 2022.

Squash is a member of the Enforce-Mint family.
Costs 50 Sun - (25 at level 7)
Squash will attack - and squash - any zombie which gets within one (1) of him.
Squash can attack zombies behind him as well as in front of him.
Squash will squash all zombies in the tile - no matter how many there are.
Squash will do 1,800 damage to those he can not squash.
At level 3, Squash will attack and then return to the original tile to squash one more time - two attacks in total.
When given plant food, Squash will randomly seek out zombies to flatten. Two (2) attacks at level 1 and +1 attack every even level.

Commentary:
This is a meat-and-potatoes type of plant. It is not very flashy but it is very effective. Does not cost a lot and is only used when triggered so you do not have to keep this plant in queue waiting to be used. As instant/single use plants go, this is a pretty good one. Handles most threats and does the same damage as a Potato Mine or Explode-o-Nut.

The only weakness this plant has is when it is going against higher level and higher health zombies - zombies which have more than 1,800 hit points - and therefore would survive being Squashed.

Level 2 Objective - Remove six (6) health bars in three (3) minutes.
Reward is 15 Squash seeds.
Players start with 2,000 Sun.

Level 3 Objective - Remove eight (8) health bars in three (3) minutes.
Reward is 20 Squash seeds.
Players start with 1,750 Sun.
