July 4th, 2022, weekend sail.

This was a rushed attempt to navigate Desiderata from San Francisco to Ft. Bragg CA. I attempted to make the run before the fair weather that was supposed to hit the next day. Fortunately I turned around under the Golden Gate bridge and was able to anchor up nearby to cook and wait out the blow. When I went to fire the engine back up at 0300, I found that the batteries were dead. Got safely back to port early that afternoon and was able to make the repairs but unfortunately, I was not going to be able to make the journey due to the time at port and time away from work.
