B GATES BUYS N DAKOTA FARMLAND - N.D. ATTY GEN QUESTIONS GATES ABOUT IT THEN APPROVES IT

Bill Gates created an uproar in North Dakota buying $13.5 million in farmland near the Canadian border. The N.D. Atty General questioned Gates Red River Trust which bought the land, about it's farming intentions, because N.D. law doesn't allow corporations or LLCs from owning farmland, but it allows Trusts if the land is then leased back to farmers. That is what Gates representatives assured the Atty General the Red River Trust will be doing. But will it? Stay tuned.
