How to make Peanut Butter at Home | Easy & Customizable
I can't believe I used to buy peanut butter at the store instead of making it at home! It's not only super easy, but you get to control what all goes in it, which means you can add salt, sugar, chocolate, spices, whatever you heart desires, without the extra palm oil or unknown ingredients you can find in some peanut butters at the store.

HOMEMADE PEANUT BUTTER RECIPE

1 cup of peanuts yields about 1/2 cup of peanut butter
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups of roasted unsalted peanuts for 2 cups peanut butter
Optional: Salt, sugar, spices (cayenne, cinnamon, chocolate, the sky is the limit)
DIRECTIONS:
1. If not using unsalted roasted peanuts, then you'll need to roast the raw peanuts for a roasted flavored peanut butter (trust me, it's delicious that way).
2. Dump 4 cups peanuts into a food processor (or you can use a strong blender like a Vitamix or Blendtec).
3. Process peanuts for at least 5 minutes until it releases the oils and turns into a silky smooth butter.
4. Scrape from container and place into a lidded glass jar for storage in the fridge.
