Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller No Power Not Charging and Squealing in Pain

In for repair is a Elite 2 Controller not charging and no power. When the USB-C cable is plugged in it makes a high pitched squealing noise and not lights!

I've come across this several times and it's always due to liquid damage.

This controller came in for a whole host of issues to be fixed ontop of not turning on:

1: No power
2: Stick drift
3: LB/RB
4: All four rear paddles

I just wanted to show the no power repair part.
