Richard Gere joins Dalai Lama birthday celebrations

American actor Richard Gere joined hundreds of Buddhist monks and devotees in Indian hill town of Dharamsala on Wednesday (June 6) to celebrate the 87th birthday of Tibetan spiritual leader in exile, the Dalai Lama.
