New York trying to sidestep the Supreme Court ruling on gun rights

The Supreme Court overturned New York's gun control law that required that people show a just cause in order to obtain a carry license. New York has now passed a new law that is aimed at further restricting gun rights of residents and will require them to tell New York about all of their social media accounts.

Some of the new gun control law would probably be allowed to stand by the courts but there are parts of it that certainly would be struck down in a court challenge.
