Jesus, Jesus by Tina Wurschmidt | Demo Release

Some of the most wonderful songs are born right in the middle of worship. The story of “Jesus, Jesus,” the new demo I am releasing today is an amazing testimony to how the Lord speaks through us the words for us to sing back to Him.

One night in November 2019 we were gathered together for House of His Presence, our weekly worship and prayer gathering in Pittsburgh. I was leading worship that night and as we were just coming out of a song and going through a chord progression, I heard the Lord say in my heart, “I want to see you as you are.” I sang out those words and the rest of the song just came out!

Sherri Turnbull, who was singing with me that night, jumped in with “I want to hear your heartbeat, the cadence of your heart,” and “Jesus, Jesus, there’s power in the name.” I added in, “there’s power in the blood.”

We continued for over 30 minutes in spontaneous worship and prayer that sparked from that song. The power of God was so strong. Even those who downloaded the recording of the worship set afterwards remarked, “wow, you could feel the glory coming through!”

Today’s release is the demo version of the song shaped from that night. I pray that you will experience the glory yourself and get to know Jesus even deeper as you listen!
