Hydroponic system pond upgrade

Project of connecting multiple water gardens together, expanding my hydroponics setup. Also adding in a DIY upflow filter made from bottle caps and a bucket of floating Bioballs I had stashed in the garage for 13 years or so..
There is a space I have to mow between the house and garden. My main hydro system for last many years is by the house. I had to bridge the gap to get water and electric back and forth.

Note that the pond I'm connecting to hasn't had anything done to it in about 14 years other that rake the bottom every spring so it went from muck to clear in a little less that 2 weeks with this filter running. The big square box in the water is what the pump suck water through.

These up flow filters hold an immense amount of debris.

Plants in the grow beds part of the system, are the usual's that do good oats, lettuce, hops clones, also cloning more hedges starts, some new stuff basil, cilantro & more.
