New polling from CNBC shows that Democrats are headed for disaster in 2022, where inflation and the economy are the primary concerns of voters and Biden is underwater on both. One DEM pollster said (in relation to the mid term elections, "It's too late. We're f--ked!" Even Columbia, S.C., long a Democrat Party bastion, has elected a Republican Mayor, where its citizens are fed up with a party preoccupied with expanding its power and doing nothing for the public. The Jussie Smollett case has vast ramifications, since (1) it's a small scale hoax the public can wrap its mind around; (2) it was endlessly promoted by the media as "fake news"; and (3) it contradicts the CRT narrative of whites as "oppressors" and blacks as among the "oppressed"-- not to mention the ties to Kamala and to Michelle, which will emerge in future political campaigns. Rolf offered lots of astute observations about the political significance of all of the above and more.
