Boris’s Garden was established in the late 19th century and it is named after the Bulgarian Tsar Boris III. During the communist regime the park was renamed to “Freedom Park”, and after the fall of communism it reverted to its original name. It has an area 300 000 m2 and four main alleys. There are plenty of playgrounds, picnic areas, two stadiums, summer theatres, restaurants, tennis courts, a lake with lilies, and a rose garden.
