I would now liken this to a neutron bomb, which kills the people but leaves structures intact. When the Americans are gone, there are staggering numbers of Chinese who can occupy their homes and seize control of their possessions. Meanwhile, Trump and the GOP are surging in popularity and Biden and the Democrats are in free fall. AOC and the progressives are at odds with the rest of their party, where their Green New Deal would bring about economic catastrophe for the nation. The nation's newspaper of record continues to publish propaganda and disinformation about Covid and the number of children hospitalized to stoke fear in the population at large.
