John Lennon would be 81 tomorrow. Surprisingly little is known about what happened at the Dakota that night, where the body appears to have been cremated. Yoko Ono was in the lead and he was shot, not by Mark Chapman, but by one of the original members of Op 40, which was a government assassination team organized by Richard Nixon as Vice President under Eisenhower.
