Plants vs Zombies 2 - Epic Quest - Seedium Plant Showcase - Mega Gatling Pea - July 2022

This quest focuses on the Premium (Money) plant Mega Gatling Pea and was offered between July 4, 2022 and July 18, 2022.

Mega Gatling Pea is a member of the Appease-Mint family.
Costs 400 Sun - (-25 Sun per level until level 7)
Fires four (4) peas.
Each Pea does 20 damage. (+10 per level)
There is a 2% chance to randomly activate his plant food power. (+1% per level).
Once his plant food has been activated, Mega Gatling Pea now fires five (5) peas.

What an amazing plant. As if Appease-Mint strategies could not get much better, we are teased the ultimate Pea Shooter - Mega Gatling Pea. This multiple-pea-firing plant also has great synergy with Pea Vine (multiplies damage per Pea for the plant inside of it), Torchwood (does at least 2x damage per pea which goes through it) and Appease-Mint (more damage per pea when active).

The only drawback of this plant is the high Sun cost - 400 Sun. But that is negated as the “per pea” cost is actually cheaper than other pea shooters at the same level - as well as being great on space savings - either on those levels with limited space or to seriously increase firepower on longer levels. But even knowing this, one can plant multiple Sun producers to off-set the Sun expenditure.

Bottom Line:
Plan to obtain and level up this plant if you are a serious fan of this game. This plant is simply too powerful to ignore.
