#TaylorMcAllister was living at Butler’s residence the night she was murdered. Taylor was introduced to him by someone she knew and he became obsessed with her. He began taking advantage of her addiction, supplying her w/ drugs, money and clothes. He then had her move in w/ him and became extremely controlling.
Butler claims Taylor became “sick” the night she was murdered and instead of calling 911 he called his live in drug dealer, Deonte Baker to pick her up. Baker was approximately 45 min away and was with 3 others. They stated they arrived and found Taylor in Butler’s bed completely naked and moaning in severe pain, unable to talk or move and she had urinated on herself. They requested Butler contact 911 and he again refused because he didn’t want police or EMS in his house due to drugs and firearms inside the residence and him being a convicted felon. Taylor was then picked up and placed in the back seat of Butler’s truck. He refused to get in the truck, so one of the individuals drove off w her. They all later claim she died in the truck and they contacted Butler to tell him. He refused to allow them to bring her back to his residence and told them to “take care of it”. An argument ensued and they decided to dump her in an alley. They returned to Butler’s residence, Butler advised one of the men involved to go buy lighter fluid. Butler then burned their clothing, destroyed video surveillance in and around the home and discarded Taylor’s belongings in various apartment dumpsters. They also cleaned the truck, house, and got rid of the mattress she was on.

The day she was found SPPD questioned Butler and noticed fresh scratches to his arm, face and bridge of his nose. He also had bruises to his shoulder area. Butler began lying about questions pertaining to Taylor and then contacted his attorney after a request was made to obtain his DNA. SPPD was told to leave. A warrant was later issued for a buccal swab for his DNA, which was later found on Taylor’s neck and under her fingernails during her autopsy. SPPD confirmed his DNA was the only one found on her body. Almost a year later, a warrant was served on Butler’s residence where they found Taylor’s guitar and monogrammed Bible. He was charged w/ a misdemeanor of failure to report a death. He had his attorney drag the case out to avoid adding a level to his federal sentence. He served approx. 8 months in county jail after pleading guilty to the misdemeanor.

As a result of Taylor’s investigation, Butler was then charged and convicted of money laundering in federal court. We were told by the federal investigator he guaranteed Butler was going to get between a 12-14 yr sentence. Butler then turned federal witness and agreed to testify against his live in drug dealer, Deonte Baker on drug charges and assist law enforcement on any other individuals. He was sentenced to 40 months, later reduced to 27 months in which he is scheduled to be released in 2021. Butler also admitted during the trial that Bobs Carpet And Flooring is supporting him financially.
