None of us would be surprised if it was taking him out under conditions of plausible deniability.
Meanwhile, the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan has turned into a complete fiasco, where even Democrats are turning on Biden for his manifest incompetence. It even turns out that the US gave the Taliban a list of Americans and their Afgan allies, which is virtually certain to lead to their deaths.
