Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy.

This Museum is situated in the heart of one of the strategic sites of the Battle of Normandy in the city of Bayeux.
The Town of Bayeux was the first town to be liberated in mainland France on 7 June 1944. The museum is closely located to the memorial garden and the British war cemetery.

The museum presents the military operations which took place during 7 June to 29 August 1944 in the Battle of Normandy.
All with display cases focusing on the Allied and German soldiers and their equipment and vehicles, the museums provides a lot of information and almost every item is labeled and tells a story.
Some interesting vehicles on display are the D7 Dozer and FlakPanzer 38(t) and a Wespe.
The museum is a mix of modern and classic displays.
And I would highly recommend going to this museum, it's conveniently located with free parking and the British war cemetery and memorial is a walking distance away.
