Cleanup of Seattle's CHOP/CHAZ is underway!! CHOP/CHAZ is over. Take a police-escorted walk through the grounds and see what cleanup efforts look like. There is still much to be done but many buildings and streets are already returning to their prior condition.

You will see the Seattle Police Department East Precinct. Open streets with no barricades. No tents in the fields.

On Wednesday, July 1, 2020, over 200 Seattle Police Officers descended on the area formerly known as CHOP/CHAZ. Within a couple of hours, the area was taken back and secured. All protestors were removed, many of them arrested.
