Better Call Saul's midseason finale was a thrilling episode. Season 6 Episode 7 was the last episode in the first half of the final season,. This episode paid off all of the setup from the previous three installments. Jimmy and Kim successfully carry out their scheme on a happless Howard. All seems well, until things take an unexpected turn for Jimmy, Kim and especially poor Howard. Lalo's return to Albuquerque hints at a chaotic second half of the season. An episode that largely focuses on a charade ends in horror and suspense.
