Summer In The High Country

On this date in 1936, the US was suffering a terrible drought. It was 120 degrees in South Dakota, 110 degrees in Wyoming, and 110 degrees at Rock Rapids, Iowa - where I picked up the puppy last week in 70 degree weather.
