The Raw Deal (23 April 2021): The Conviction of Derek Chauvin & latest shooting in Columbus, Ohio

In relation to the trial, I explain why (given the evidence presented during the trial) it was impossible to convict on any of the three charges because there was a reasonable alternative explanation, namely: that George Floyd overdosed and killed himself by ingesting drugs he did not want the police to discover in his possession. The Defense even played a video clip where he says, "I ate too many drugs!", where the collapse of his respiratory system would have followed as an effect. He was saying, "I can't breathe!", long before he was prone on the ground. Ironically, the conviction deprived the Democrats of using the case to promote their (absurd) campaign to "Defund the Police!", which has been further undermined by the shooting in Columbus, OH, where the white cop save the life of a black girl by shooting the (much larger) black girl who was about to stab her with a very large knife. Even Don Lemon has acknowledge that this was a justified shooting--which causes the public pause and quandary about the plan to abolish law enforcement in the USA.
