House Rule #21 Guard the Sacred Trust (1 Timothy 6:20-21)

Description: Paul closes his first letter to Timothy with a passionate plea to guard the sacred gospel which has been entrusted to him. Timothy, and the church today, will be able to accomplish this charge by avoiding false teaching and relying totally on the ever-present and powerful grace of God.

1 Timothy 6:20-21 ESV - O Timothy, guard the deposit entrusted to you. Avoid the irreverent babble and contradictions of what is falsely called “knowledge,” for by professing it some have swerved from the faith. Grace be with you.
