Isaac: Faith to Confer the Blessings (Hebrews 11:20)

Description: Isaac believed the promises given to his father Abraham. Though intending the blessing for Esau, Isaac blessed Jacob conferring the promises of the Abrahamic Covenant upon him and his descendants. Overruled by God’s providence, Isaac’s faith blessed the one God intended all along. An exposition of Hebrews 11:20 and selected Old Testament passages.

By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau, even regarding things to come.
