Empty mall.

Isn’t it nice to observe a space that’s usually loud & alive, when it’s silent & at rest?

I personally find a sense of peace in that.
It’s also a subtle reminder (if you’re someone like myself who finds a lesson in everything), that everyone needs a break eventually.
Remind yourself that you can’t be on go-mode 24/7.
You won’t feel motivated 24/7.
Don’t feel bad if there are days where you feel no inspiration.
That’s normal & okay.

I understand that in this society, our lives are designed in a way where we “live around the clock” (meaning that our weekdays & day-to-day tasks are - to a certain degree - already written & planned, right down to the minute.
We always have somewhere to be & something to do at a certain date/time), so it’s difficult to feel like you’re in control of your own time.

However, if you’re able to, try going a day without checking your phone/clock/social-media. You need it.
You’ll realize that time (though non-existent) is very slow, calm & full of possibilities.
You’ll also find that some of your “problems” don’t even exist - they were created as a result of overthinking.

At the mall, when the hour of closing arrived, it cleared quickly & that’s when my younger brothers & I found a very large version of “connect-4” & “jenga”.
We stayed longer to play - it was really fun!
