How to Mix Paints For a Amazing Metallic Pearl Pour
Step-by-Step Acrylic Pouring Recipe & Tutorial (1 of 2)

I've had a few people ask me to do a full tutorial on how I mix my paints for one of my favorite styles of acrylic pouring. The Metallic Pearl Pour. Or the "Puddle Pour Dump and Swirl". So here it is! I never get tired of watching those cells pop up! I find it genuinely amazing every time!

This video is the first step, I will be posting the video of the painting I poured after mixing these up soon. I continue the tutorial there.

I do add Minwax to my Floetrol to help it mimic Austrailan Floetrol. I find it helps with the success of theses types of pours. Minwax does not leave a residue like silicone. It really is not similar to silicone at all. It is mixed directly into the Floetrol, and I add it in an attempt to add the "secret ingredient" that seems to be missing from the American version of the product.
