2022_07_03_AM_We are Blessed to Bless Others

Guest preacher and missionaries Randy and Nancy Carter preach from 2 Corinthians ch 8, 9, and 10 to remind us - that while we celebrate our nation's independence and blessings this weekend, God wants us to 'pay it forward' to those in need. The Carters build schools in Tanzania and surrounds to give these very poor but resourceful people a 'hand up', as they hear and study the Gospel.

This verse stands out:
"For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have." 2 Cor 8:12 NIV
- to remind us that it is not the amount of the gift, but the amount of the sacrifice that the LORD considers. [Ex: the widow's mite.] It reflects what is in our heart, regardless of our 'means'.

We are to give of ourselves FULLY unto the LORD, trusting that the LORD will bless us manifold in return.
